Thanks to all of you who showed up and contributed toward the successful start of our 7th season! We had an interesting round robin set of games and tournament, and by the end of the day, the two teams with the worst round robin seeds, #7 Blue Chips and #8 Chosen Few ended up in the championship, with Blue Chips overcoming them in sudden death. Great start! See you guys this Saturday for the first official week of games.

Due to the looming potential 4-team tie at 4-6 this coming Saturday, I decided it needed to be clarified ahead of time what the tiebreaker scenarios are for our league. The tiebreakers have already been in place for ties between 2 teams. Below are the tiebreaker scenarios in determining playoff spots and seedings. Below are the prioritized criteria:
1.) Win Percentage.
2.) Head-to-Head Record.
3.) Divisional Record.
4.) Point Differential.
5.) Points For.
The top six teams make the playoffs, with the two division winners getting a bye the first round and the next four teams, based on the above criteria, playing the first round. |
